Private Day Tours in Bohol
1. Payment and Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed only after BNT Travel and Tours has
received the payment requested in your booking email and issued
written confirmation by email. The confirmation will state the
amount received, any outstanding balance and its payment deadline.
The confirmed rate applies to the agreed services.
Accepted payment methods: international bank transfer, Wise,
PayPal, credit or debit card via payment link, local bank transfer,
GCash, and cash at our office during opening hours.
BNT must receive the full tour price no later than 8:00 PM
Philippine time (UTC+8) on the day before the tour, or by any
earlier payment deadline stated in your booking confirmation.
Tours not paid in full by this deadline will not proceed.
Sending or initiating a payment does not meet this requirement
until BNT has received the funds. Same-day bookings are not accepted.
Payment constitutes acceptance of the conditions supplied before payment.
2. Cancellation by the Traveller
Cancellation charges are calculated on the
total price of the cancelled tour, regardless of
the amount paid at the time of cancellation. BNT cancellation
administration fees are included in these charges.
Day tour cancellation charges
| Notice before the tour starts |
Charge on the total tour price |
| 30 days or more |
20% |
| At least 48 hours but less than 30 days |
50% |
| Less than 48 hours or no-show |
100% |
Any amount paid in excess of the applicable cancellation charge
will be refunded. If the amount paid is less than the cancellation
charge, the outstanding difference remains payable. A no-show
means failure to attend at the confirmed meeting time and place.
3. Cancellation Procedure
Cancellation requests are accepted exclusively by email, by
replying to the email thread used for the booking. Requests made
by telephone, WhatsApp, Messenger, social media, in person or
through any other channel do not constitute valid cancellation notice.
The applicable cancellation charge is determined by the date and
time BNT receives the cancellation email, measured against the
confirmed tour start in Philippine time (UTC+8).
One day means 24 hours.
4. Changes and Rescheduling
Changes must be requested by email and are subject to availability
and any applicable additional charges, notified before acceptance.
Changes take effect only upon confirmation by BNT by email. If a
requested change cannot be accommodated and the traveller cancels,
the standard cancellation charges apply.
5. Weather, Force Majeure and Cancellation by BNT
If a tour cannot proceed due to unsafe weather, official
restrictions or other circumstances beyond our control, BNT will
seek a suitable alternative. If no alternative is available, or the
alternative does not fit the traveller's schedule, the amount paid
for the affected tour will be refunded in full, without BNT
cancellation or service fees.
If BNT cancels before departure for operational reasons, the
traveller may accept an available alternative or receive a full
refund. A substantially different replacement tour requires the
traveller's agreement.
Itineraries may be adjusted for safety or local conditions. Rain
alone does not constitute cancellation. Standard cancellation
charges apply if the traveller declines a tour that can operate
safely. If a tour is interrupted after departure, any refund for
undelivered services will be assessed separately under applicable law.
6. Refunds
Applicable refunds are processed within 24-48 hours after
cancellation is confirmed, normally through the original payment
method and in the original payment currency. Where this is not
possible, including cash payments, an alternative method will be
agreed. Bank and payment-provider processing times may vary.
Applies to direct bookings for private day tours in Bohol.
Separate day tours are assessed individually. Package and
third-party bookings follow the conditions accepted for that
booking. Nothing in this policy excludes rights that cannot be
waived under applicable law.

Tailor-Made Trips in the Philippines
This section applies to complete tailor-made trips booked directly
with BNT Travel and Tours, including the services listed in the
confirmed itinerary.
1. Payment and Booking Confirmation
A payment of 50% of the total trip price is required
to confirm the booking. Confirmation is issued by email after the
required payment has been received.
The remaining 50% must be received at least 60 days before
the scheduled arrival date in the Philippines. For
bookings made less than 60 days before arrival, full payment is
required to confirm the booking. For bookings made exactly 60 days
before arrival, the balance is also due that day, so full payment
is required.
The booking confirmation will state the amount received, any
outstanding balance and the payment deadline. Payment must be
received by the applicable deadline; initiating a transfer does
not constitute receipt of funds.
Accepted payment methods: international bank transfer, Wise,
PayPal, credit or debit card via payment link, local bank transfer,
GCash, and cash at our office during opening hours. Payment
currency and instructions are stated in the quote or invoice.
Payment constitutes acceptance of the itinerary and the conditions
supplied before payment, including any specific supplier conditions.
2. Cancellation by the Traveller
Accommodation, flights, ferries and other services with specific
supplier conditions
These services are subject to the cancellation conditions
identified in the proposal or booking documents before payment.
They may be partly or fully non-refundable once booked. Any refund
or date change is subject to those conditions.
Remaining trip services
The following cancellation charges apply to the total price
allocated to the remaining services, not to the amount paid.
Services assessed separately under supplier conditions are
excluded from this calculation.
Cancellation charges for remaining trip services
| Notice before arrival in the Philippines |
Cancellation charge |
| More than 30 calendar days |
50% |
| 15–30 calendar days, inclusive |
75% |
| 14 calendar days or fewer, or no-show |
100% |
The total cancellation charge is the sum of the applicable supplier
charges and the charge on the remaining services. No service is
charged twice, and the total charge will not exceed the price of
the cancelled booking. BNT cancellation administration fees are included.
Any amount paid in excess of the applicable cancellation charge
will be refunded. If the amount paid is less than the cancellation
charge, the outstanding difference remains payable. A breakdown
of the calculation will be provided.
3. Cancellation Procedure
Cancellation requests are accepted exclusively by email, by
replying to the email thread used for the booking. Requests made
by telephone, WhatsApp, Messenger, social media, in person or
through any other channel do not constitute valid cancellation notice.
Notice is calculated as the difference in calendar days between
the date BNT receives the cancellation email and the scheduled
arrival date in the Philippines shown in the booking confirmation,
using Philippine time (UTC+8).
4. Changes and Rescheduling
Changes must be requested by email and are subject to availability,
supplier conditions and applicable additional charges. Costs will
be communicated before acceptance. Changes take effect only upon
confirmation by BNT by email. If a requested change cannot be
accommodated and the traveller cancels, the applicable
cancellation charges apply.
5. Disruption, Force Majeure and Cancellation by BNT
Weather, transport disruption, official restrictions, natural
disasters or other circumstances beyond our control may require
itinerary changes. BNT will seek suitable alternatives. Material
replacements and additional charges require the traveller's agreement.
If an affected service cannot be provided and no suitable
alternative is agreed, the refund will reflect unused services
and documented, non-recoverable supplier costs, subject to
applicable law. Refundable amounts recovered from suppliers will
be returned to the traveller. BNT will not retain payment for its
own undelivered services or apply voluntary-cancellation
percentages to services that cannot be provided.
Disruption to one service does not automatically entitle the
traveller to a full refund of the entire trip. Each affected
service will be assessed separately.
If BNT cancels the entire trip before it starts for its own
operational reasons, the traveller may accept an available
alternative or receive a full refund of the amount paid to BNT
for the trip.
6. Refunds
Confirmed refundable amounts held by BNT are processed within
24–48 hours after the refund amount is confirmed. Where a refund
must first be recovered from a supplier, the recovered amount
will be processed within 24–48 hours of receipt. BNT will advise
the traveller of any outstanding supplier refunds.
Refunds are normally made through the original payment method
and in the original payment currency. If this is not possible,
an alternative method will be agreed. Bank and payment-provider
processing times and exchange rates may vary.
7. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance covering cancellation, interruption, medical
expenses and travel disruption is strongly recommended. Insurance
is not included unless expressly stated in the proposal. Coverage
is subject to the insurer's terms and exclusions.
